Profile description

An award winning design engineer currently reading for a PhD in Engineering at the University of Cambridge. Prior to starting the PhD, I completed an MRes in Ultra Precision Engineering at the University of Cambridge and a BA and MSc in Product Design and Medical Product Design respectively, from Nottingham Trent University. My major postgraduate project was featured in various medical news publications including Med-Tech Innovation and resulted in a paper being published. My major undergraduate project was featured in the New Designers Press and Develop3D Magazine voted me one of the seven best British graduate designers of 2014.

A modular wheelchair design to replace the traditional metal wheelchair utilising the engineering quality of polymers to create an enhanced design.

Contemporary pewter candle holders aimed at revitalising the pewter industry for the commercial homewares market by targeting generation Y consumers.

A pair of Universal Optical Trial Frames specifically designed for children between the ages of 4 to 12 years old.

MediBand

A conceptual project to develop a medical product for 5o years in the future. In this instance a medical wearable band that can perform early diagnosis of cancer by using novel technologies such as nanobot scans and portable biopsies.

Ultra-Monitorâ„¢

Ultra-Monitorâ„¢ is an Innovative Headset Information Display for Monitoring Electromyography Responses within Spinal Surgery. Utilising the technological capabilities of Google Glass this project focused on addressing potential lack of communication and inefficiency within the neurosurgical procedure Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy.
