I have a keen eye for detail and a broad knowledge of all aspects of commercial kitchen design and installation. I love the challenge that every new project brings and enjoy working through the complexities that enable me to assist clients in achieving their aspirations for a new facility. I closely liase with clients and address many of the technical challenges associated with this work. Typically these revolve around maximising use of space, ventilation, grease management, odour control, food waste and energy management / reduction. Working through the RIBA stages I have been involved with a diverse range of projects within refurbishments, new builds and listed buildings all over the UK. Some noteable projects include the Houses of Parliament, Richmond upon Thames College and Din Thai Fung Covent Garden.
Richmond upon Thames College
This was a £900k package of kitchen equipment designed and installed within 3 commercial kitchens, a student refectory and a coffee bar. The Level 4 Training Restaurant Kitchen features views over London from the dining space. This was an extremely demanding project that I was involved with for over 4 years. Working through the RIBA stages, I provided the designs, specification and project management from the beginning through to completion. Multiple changes were requested by the client team throughout the duration of the project but it was delivered on time and within budget.
