Mr Gbenga Enikanosaye Fashion Design

Gbenga Emmanuel is a Nigerian fashion designer and textile innovator known for blending Afrocentric and Eurocentric aesthetics through contemporary fashion and experimental textile development. His work explores themes of cultural identity, heritage, and modern expression, with collections including Ekplisso, Bam Bam, NOD, and Syncretism.

He is the creator of Minayo Textile, an innovative textile concept developed to promote cultural exchange, sustainability, and artistic storytelling within fashion. His work has received professional and academic assessments from notable industry figures and scholars, positioning his practice at the intersection of fashion, research, and textile innovation.

Gbenga has showcased his designs internationally, including at the Spintex Fashion Show in Accra, where his collection achieved immediate commercial sales, demonstrating both market appeal and cross-cultural relevance. He was also awarded First Runner-Up at the Dress Fela Fashion Competition 2024 and recognized as MVAA Fashion Designer of the Year 2025.
