Profile description

Alex Huxter, Assoc. CSD, is an interior design and construction professional and Co-Founder of ZontaHuxter Developments, a London-based design and build company specialising in high-end residential interiors, property refurbishment and commercial projects.

A graduate of Interior Design at Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London, Alex combines a formal design education with extensive practical experience in construction, bespoke furniture manufacturing and project delivery.

His introduction to the built environment began at an early age, working alongside his father in plumbing and building services. This practical foundation developed into a career spanning architectural design, bespoke furniture and joinery manufacturing, technical development, procurement and operational management.

Prior to establishing ZontaHuxter, Alex held senior responsibilities within the bespoke furniture industry, overseeing design development, manufacturing operations, production processes and client relationships. His experience includes developing technical solutions for complex bespoke installations, integrating design with manufacturing technology and improving operational systems to support business growth.

Today, his work focuses on bringing together thoughtful design, technical precision and practical construction expertise. Through ZontaHuxter Developments, he works with private clients, property investors, architects and fellow designers to deliver considered residential and commercial environments.

Alex’s approach is grounded in the belief that successful design must balance aesthetics, functionality, craftsmanship and buildability. By maintaining a detailed understanding of both the creative and technical processes, he aims to ensure that design intent is preserved from the earliest concepts through to final installation.

His areas of expertise include interior design, bespoke furniture and joinery, design development, manufacturing coordination, procurement and construction project management.
