The Society has a continuing dialogue with education at all levels, including Government agencies, educational institutions, students and tutors and international bodies.

Representation to government occurs as a result of participating and advising on various committees and initiatives. The Society is particularly vocal in its representation of promoting continuous career education and training.

Assisting design education and nurturing young designers as they take the first step on their chosen career is key to establishing a recognised profession of design.

Promoting end of year shows not only assists new graduates but also provides those in practice and business with a showcase of talent from which they can recruit. It is an example of CSD partnering for the benefit of design providers, educators and users.
