
BBC approaches CSD to find expert for live debate
In February 2007, the Australian government introduced plans to phase out incandescent light bulbs and replace them with more energy-efficient compact fluorescent bulbs across the country.
In response to this announcement, on the 22nd Febraury BBC Breakfast approached CSD and we were glad to assist by recommending an expert to appear on the breakfast show in a live interview the following day.
Martin Lupton BEng (Hons) PhD MSLL Associate IALD appeared on the interview which was broadcast on BBC1 on 22nd February at 0740.
Mr Lupton works at BDP; a consultancy with many CSD members.
BDP is a strong supporter of the work of the Chartered Society of Designers.
