Jeff Banks played his part in securing the Olympics for London 2012, he was appointed by the committee to create an appropriate wardrobe for the crusade.
Suits were individually tailored for each member of the team, and made by BMB’s bespoke tailors in their workrooms in Yorkshire.
105 sportsmen and statesmen were clad from head to toe in the finest Merino wool and linen with the 2012 bid logo embroidered on the inside – a good luck symbol indeed!
The leading fashion designer completed their attire with the finest Italian cotton shirts, blouses and ties, and the icing on the cake, an exclusive lucky watch with 2012 on the dial – sure to become a collector’s item.
Chirac might have poked fun at British food but the British tailor Jeff Banks who grew up in Catford South London shows who comes out on top when it comes to the fashion stakes!
