The Design Association Pledges its Support to
The Creative Capital Fund (CCF)
The Creative Capital Fund (CCF) makes equity investments in promising early-stage creative industry businesses in London.
The Fund has £5 million of corner-stone funding provided by the London Development Agency and is independently managed by AXM Venture Capital Limited.
Its investments must be matched by private investment money from other sources.
To apply for funding, or to register as a potential co-investor or suitably skilled non-executive director/mentor, please visit the CCF website at:
The Design Association (DA) has already offered its support and is looking forward to helping the CCF evaluate any proposals received from the design sector:
"DA was fortunate to work closely with the London Development Agency on their recent Creative Business Accelerator Pilot. What immediately emerged from this collaboration was the urgent need for information from the design community.
A common complaint from potential investors was that they did not know enough about design and design projects, to make an informed decision concerning funding. Therefore, it makes a lot of sense for DA to help the CCF wherever possible and offer them our knowledge and experience in the design sector.
Hopefully, our involvement will greatly compliment the CCF investment team’s work and help the Fund be as effective as possible” commented DA Chief Executive Frank Peters MCSD.
