Students may apply for Student Membership from their 2nd year onward.
Students wishing to apply for Student Membership must:
- Submit any project for review by the CSD Panel.
- Submit an up-to-date CV.
Cost: £37.50 (+ £2.50 for work to be returned).
Student Membership is awarded for the duration of their course*.
Students receive a certificate and a unique membership number to display after their name and on CVs.

* A qualification recognised by the Society, normally a BA, BSc, BTEC HND in design or a PG in any of the defined design courses.
Student Membership includes:
- The use of 'A Student Member of the Chartered Society of Designers 'after your name.
- Student level access to the CSD website.
- Your Portfolio FREE on CSD Directory.
- A certificate of membership.
- Discount on CSD Events.
