The Designer publishes news and articles from within the CSD membership and from within the design industry and education.

Whilst fulfilling its brief as a membership magazine, The Designer has also managed to become a design industry publication in its own right and in 2004 was short-listed in the redesign/relaunch of the year category of the Magazine Design Awards organised by The Press Gazette.
