the highest accolade

The Minerva Medal is the highest accolade the Society can offer and is awarded for a lifetime achievement in the field of design.

Over the years it has been received by many who are legends in the design world and who have done so much to raise the profile and professionalism of design and indeed the Society.

Past winners of the medal include international gurus in various design disciplines.

Whenever the Medal is awarded it is presented at the Minerva Dinner, a special celebration of the Society and its work.

The Medal is cast from sterling silver and bears the proud profile of Minerva, the Roman Goddess of Wisdom, Knowledge and Education, and of course the logo of CSD.

You can find out more about those awarded the Minerva Medal and see some of their work by clicking the name.
