In 1902 C R Ashbee moved the workshops of his Guild of Handicraft–silversmiths, jewellers, cabinetmakers, blacksmiths and printers, from the East End of London to Chipping Campden. The Silk Mill remains with craftsmen still hard at work providing an exhibition of their many skills. The building is also the home to the Robert Welch Studio; older members will remember Bob and the parties in his studio on the Saturday nights of the Conference weekend.

Tickets for the whole day cost £22 each, family and friends welcome.
Bookings will only be accepted with cheques, made payable to the Chartered Society of Designers

Chipping Campden is steeped in history from the Arts and Crafts movement and yet is very much part of the present century. A vibrant little town with a lot to see, make a weekend of it and enjoy some of England’s most beautiful countryside
