Designer Talk

The Society's Designer Talk programme offer the opportunity for courses to book design practitioners to give a talk and/or workshop about design or their own practice and to answer students questions. CSD is continually updating its register of designers willing to undertake such talks and courses may submit a request by contacting CSD costs are limited to the speakers travel expenses and a £25 admin charge. No charge is made by the speaker for lecturing.

Tutor Training 

Tutors also benefit from CSD member rates on any CSD training modules at any level. A full programme of current training modules can be found in Training.

Membership 

Those in academia are able to become Associate Members of the Society. Membership is restricted to those who have worked in a senior position of responsibility in design education for more than 5 years.

Teaching material

Many of the Society's publications can be used as instructional material illustrating to students the importance of adopting best practice and using industry standard documentation. Publications are continuously reviewed and are subject to availability.

Courses are offered membership rates for all publications to encourage their wider use.
